Warp Drive is the latest title to build on Guildford's long history of producing innovative racing games. Developer Supergonk can expect a significant boost to the games player base from this valuable media attention.

Supergonk founder Ben Ward said:

"As a studio Supergonk always strives to support the latest Apple features; we love being on the cutting edge of new technologies! Making Warp Drive compatible with the new M1 chip was a no-brainer for us, given the extra power that's available for developers to use. We are so grateful for this excellent recognition from Apple, and look forward to building on Warp Drive's success in the future!"

An eagle eyed fan of the game spotted that some gameplay footage from Warp Drive was featured within the new iPad Pro advert too.

Watch out for some brief footage from the game around the 1 minute mark
