We’re back for another year of celebrating the brilliant, bonkers, and downright talented games industry right here in Guildford - the UK’s biggest development hub!
Tickets for the 2026 guildford.games festival are now officially on sale — and we can’t wait to fill GLive once again with games, talks, panels and inspiration in abundance on Friday 20 February. Whilst we have the "floor", we’d like to send a huge thanks to all our sponsors (listed below) and our friends at Glive for being so accommodating and great fun to collaborate with!
What’s new this year?
We’ve made a few small changes to our ticketing to help us keep the festival fair, accessible and focused on what matters most: inspiring the next generation of developers.
In previous years, our free tickets were snapped up faster than a bug fix on launch day - which is brilliant! Interest in the festival has grown hugely, and with so many people from across the industry eager to attend, we want to make sure there’s still plenty of space for students and aspiring developers too.
To make sure everyone who really needs the festival gets the chance to attend, we’re introducing a few nominal ticket fees this year:
* General Admission: £20
* Guildford Studio Pass: £10
* Student Pass: Free (with student ID)
* Sponsor Access: Free (with code)
Group bookings for students can be made by contacting info@liquidcrimson.co.uk
Every pound raised will go right back into doing good things - 50% will be donated to our charity partner, and the rest will help us keep guildford.games events running and accessible for everyone. It’s all about giving back to the community that makes Guildford the “Hollywood of Games”!
What to expect
Expect a full day of talks, panels, workshops, and playable demos from local studios - plus portfolio reviews and networking opportunities for those looking to get their start in the industry.
Panelists and exhibitors are being booked in as we speak (and trust us, you’ll want to see this lineup 👀). We’ll have plenty more announcements coming soon - so keep an eye on our socials for the big reveals.
