It’s that time of year again – the guildford.games Awards are officially open for submissions!
Whether you're a developer, part of a studio, a budding developer or a fan of the incredible games made right here in Guildford, this is your chance to get involved and celebrate the best of what our community has to offer.
This year, we’re recognising the talent, creativity and collaboration that make Guildford one of the most vibrant and inspiring game development hubs in the UK - and we’re celebrating the amazing Guildford-made titles launched over the past year, from Two Point Museum, to King of Meat, Battlefield 6 to Ghost Town! 🕹️
Submissions will be open until 19th December 2025, so don't miss your chance to get involved!

🏆 Outstanding Studio Culture Award
For studios that create supportive, inclusive and inspiring work environments where creativity and wellbeing thrive.
🌟 Rising Star Award
For emerging talent who’ve made their mark early, showing real promise, creativity and passion for their craft.
💪 Hard Mode Hero Award
For those who didn’t take the easy path - celebrating individuals or teams who faced challenges head-on and still achieved something remarkable.
🎓 Education Award
Recognising initiatives, mentors and educators helping to nurture the next generation of game developers.
🤝 Collaboration Award
Honouring the teams, studios and partnerships that truly embody the power of working together to make something great.

For the art, storytelling or design that pushes boundaries and delivers something unforgettable.
💫 Nick Ferguson Unsung Hero Award
In memory of Nick Ferguson - a much-missed friend, colleague and champion of the Guildford games community. This award celebrates those who, like Nick, make a huge impact behind the scenes - the unsung heroes whose hard work keeps projects, teams and communities thriving.
❤️ Players' Choice Award
Celebrating a Guildford-made game launched between November 2024 (when we held our last award event) and now. Chosen by players and developers alike! Vote for the game that captured your heart and showed the world just what Guildford can do!
