The G.G committee have decided to bring the awards celebration spirit to their in person event at Glive on 10th February 2023 - and you can be in with a chance of winning!
The dedicated G.G Committee and volunteers are busy putting the finishing touches on the return of the face-to-face Festival - which is making a return for the first time post-pandemic - and this time there will be 2 brand new awards awarded to attendees.
For the exhibitors and indie studios hosting a stand at the event, we’ll be encouraging them to go big and go home with our Best Stand award. We want to see as many colourful, all singing, all dancing, varied stands to judge - so get creative!
For festival goers, there will be a Best Cosplay Award. You have a wealth of inspiration on show from Guildford-made games - Fable, Little Big Planet, The Dark Pictures Anthology, Joe Danger - but for this award, anything goes! Come as Nyan Cat if you feel so inclined (and if you’re costume poops rainbows you’d *definitely* be in the running to win!).
We will have a professional photographer on-site and the photos will be shared after the event, let’s see if we can show the world just how creative Guildford is!
We can’t wait to return to the in-person Festival - building & connecting the Guildford gaming community has always been a number one priority for the G.G Committee, and this Festival is going to be one to remember!
If you’re a Guildford Developer in the GU Postcode, or Indie Dev from further afield, and would like to have a stand at the Festival, please email hello@guildford.games!
