At the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), we believe creativity makes communities more vibrant, innovative, human.
So, we support every UCA student to forge their own path, using their creativity to make a difference.
We offer industry-acclaimed courses in Architecture, Crafts, Fashion, Games, Graphic Design, Illustration, Fine Art, Photography, Film, Media, the Performing Arts and Creative Business, across Surrey, Kent, and overseas.
And our students and graduates are making the creative industries more inclusive and sustainable, changing perspectives, and winning awards – from Golden Globes to Pulitzers.
Our School of Games and Creative Technology, based at UCA’s Farnham campus (near Guildford) features a series of games specific undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, each offering a niche pathway into the industry. These are:
· BSc (Hons) Games Development
· MA Independent and Serious Games.
Several of these courses are Rookies accredited, and all offer exceptional industry links and creative and collaborative opportunities, using the latest hardware and software.

We also run a Games Incubator Enterprise Studio, which each year supports selected entrepreneurial graduates to launch their first indie game to market.
Our Games graduates have gone on to work at many of the leading games industry studios, including SuperMassive Games, nDreams, Creative Assembly, Guerrilla Games, Splash Damage, TT Games, Codemasters, Rebellion, TT Games, Hanger 13, Rocksteady, Dovetail Games, Playground Games, Climax Studios, SEGA, Natural Motion, Cloud Imperium Games, Kwalee, Two Point Studios, Supergonk, PlaySport Games, Atom Republic and many other AAA, AA, iii and indie studios in the UK and abroad.
In addition, UCA Games graduates have taken their highly transferable skills and adaptable workflows to other parts of the creative industries including Serious Games, VR, AR, VFX for TV and film.
