Silver Script Games was founded in 2022 by Alyx Jones (Elden Ring, Xenoblade 3), with the goal of creating games that deal with mental health issues and delve into more taboo subjects that aren’t traditionally explored in video games.
In 2023 it was announced that their debut game “The Quiet Things” would receive a grant from the UK Games Fund as part of 48 companies funded in Round 10. With this funding the team are currently hard at work developing a vertical slice.
The Quiet Things is an auto-biographical game, based on real diary entries kept as a teenager. The game seeks to explore mental health with a raw but brave look at childhood abuse and trauma.
